The OS Color range of products is not only good for wood, but also for the environment. It includes Hardwax & Thin Oils for sealing and protecting wooden floors, internal doors & joinery, a range of easy to apply Wood Wax Finishes which give a natural looking, even colour, and Clear Oil which is ideal for use on exterior joinery to protect whilst allowing natural silvering.

Polyx (Hardwax) Oil is a traditional style, satin-matt finish based on natural vegetable oils and waxes which is locally reparable with liquid wax and easy to apply. To create a water repellent, stain resistant seal that will not crack, flake or blister, two coats are applied with a brush directly to clean, sanded timber. 2.5L will cover 30m2 with 2 coats.

Bonakemi are one of the best known manufacturers of waterborne lacquers in the flooring industry. The range offers Matt, Semi Matt and Gloss options in Spectra (domestic use) and Mega (heavy domestic & medium commercial use) depending on the durability required. 5L will cover approx 25m2 with 3 coats.

It also includes Traffic, a very matt (practically invisible) finish renowned for its durability and ideal for commercial or other very heavy use areas.

Although not locally reparable in the same way as wax based finishes, lacquer finishes are highly durable, require minimum day to day maintenance, and can be rejuvenated, and minor scratches can be treated with a Freshen Up and Polish.
