Brushed Oak

Fitting Recommendations

•  105mm boards are suitable for secret nailing to battens or a    timber subfloor or glue fixing to a level concrete subfloor    using Bonakemi S760 in normal conditions, or Sika T54 / 52    over UFH.

• 150mm Traditional solid boards can be secret nailed to    battens or a timber subfloor or glue fixed to a level concrete    subfloor using Sika T54 / T52. Glue fixing is not    recommended over under-floor heating

• 150mm Strata boards can be secret nailed to battens or a    timber subfloor, glue fixed to a level concrete subfloor    using Sika T54 / T52 or floated over a fibreboard underlay.

•  200mm Strata boards can be secret nailed to a timber    subfloor, glue fixed to a level concrete subfloor using Sika    T54 / T52 or floated over a fibreboard underlay.

For further details on these fixing methods and more general fitting information see " Wood Floor Want To Know More? ".

•  105mm and 150mm Traditional solid boards must be     re -kilned for use over underfloor heating - this must be     specified at time of order. Strata boards can be used over     under-floor heating without rekilning.

•
As Brushed boards are textured they do not need sanding     before sealing.

For a traditional style finish which will develop patina over     time, Brushed boards should be finished with Broadleaf     Hardwax Oil.
