Unfinished Contemporary boards offer a rich spectrum of species and colours that can adapt to a wide range of current styles and offer a choice of finishes. These boards need to be sanded and sealed in situ.

Chestnut - a straw coloured timber with plenty of figure, some darker streaks and occasional small knots that tones very well with Oak and is suitable for use over under-floor heating.As one of the softer hardwoods we would not recommend it for high wear areas.

Maple - a very durable timber, delicate in tone, available in Prime grade which is pale cream, practically knot free and very colour consistent, or Factory grade which features flashes of gold, pink and grey and tiny dark knots to create a vibrant feature floor.

Merbau - a rich spectrum of reddish browns whose hey day was the Art Deco period of interior design. A highly durable timber ideal for use in bathrooms due to its inherent oil content.

Walnut - a velvet toned timber full of sultry milk chocolate and sultry bruised shades with a truly luxurious feel.

Rhodesian Teak - Deepening to an intense copper red this striking floor is noted for the attractive darker brown ripple that runs though its grain and its sumptuous feel to bare feet ! Highly stable in the presence of humidity it is ideally suited to use in bathrooms.

Ipe - A rich array of lush brown shades and a sleek feel characterise this stunning floor. Very colonial looking it as a tight, straight grain and relatively little figuring.
